New Construction

Starting with a clean slate affords an owner the opportunity to design and build a home, or addition, that is truly unique to them. Having a reputable contractor involved from the very beginning of the design phase will ensure that what looks good on paper is realistic for the given budget.

The owner of this shoreline home needed an in-law addition to fit her growing family. The new 1,800 square foot space blends seamlessly with the existing structure and features a finished basement area to unwind in, a main floor with a kitchen space and custom cabinetry surrounding the gas fireplace, and an upper level with an expansive bath suite, nursery and master bedroom. Work to the existing structure included its own new master bath suite, an entry portico and expansive new deck systems out back.

The owners of this year-round cottage one block up from the beach needed some extra room for entertaining. The existing rear porch was converted into living space and tied seamlessly in to the home’s floorplan. A new open deck with awning was also added to preserve their outdoor entertaining area. Ductless split HVAC units were added to heat and cool the entire home, a high efficiency on demand water heater replaced the existing electric unit and wiring was updated. The second phase of this project saw a new kitchen layout with semi-custom cabinets and Corian countertops.

The demolition of an existing garage paved the way for this new home with amazing marsh and water views. The small footprint required a very creative use of space including truly custom storage solutions and every square inch being extensively thought out to fit the owners’ needs. An elevator services all three floors which feature two bedrooms each with a private bath, a third floor full bath, 1st floor guest bath tucked under the stairs and custom site built cabinetry throughout.
