What Remodeling Services Do You Provide?
We provide whole-house remodeling services throughout the Guilford shoreline. While we specialize in larger scale ‘full-gut’ renovations and restorations, we can also remodel smaller rooms, including kitchens, bathrooms, home offices, entertainment or hosting spaces, and more. We even remodel exterior features, too! Check out our previous whole-house remodeling projects to see what we can do for your home.
What Are the Differences Between Restoration and Remodeling Services?
Remodeling focuses on the conversion of a room or home layout to better suit your lifestyle, while restoration focuses on the preservation of the home’s features. Restoration services are ideal for homes that contain historically significant assets, while still being able to update core systems, including the plumbing and electrical systems. How Do I Find an Honest, Quality Contractor?
Your homework as a homeowner is key. Ask friends and neighbors who have had work done on their homes. Were they satisfied with the finished product?
Ask the contractor for references from their recently completed jobs and follow up with each one. Did the process go smoothly? Did they show up when promised? Were the workers respectful and was the job site kept neat and orderly? Was the project completed on budget, and if not, what led to any cost overruns?
Finally … would you use them again for a future project? It is also vitally important that you be sure a contractor is licensed and fully insured with both liability and workmen’s comp coverage.
Be sure to ask for a copy of their license(s) and proof of insurance. If everything checks out, you found yourself a good contractor.
How Does the Process Start?
Simple, either use the contact form on the website or call the number! Rick will answer or return your call directly. He will then set a time to meet with you either at your home or in office.
